My name is Pedro Félix and I’m a software engineer working in sunny Lisbon, where I deploy both code and knowledge. I’m also an Adjunct Professor at the Lisbon Polytechnical Institute, where I teach Web Development, and Concurrent Programming courses.

I started my professional career in the mid 90s, developing and teaching about embedded systems using the x86 assembly and C languages. Since then, I’ve been climbing up the stack until reaching the Web.

After spending more than one decade working with .NET, I’ve been living mostly in server-side JVM land for the last years. Currently, my main interests are in the area of HTTP APIs and asynchronous programming, namely: HTTP server and client frameworks, HTTP API design, Asynchronous Programming, and Identity and Access Control Management.
